The Strokes Share New Album Details, Release New Track

Indie rockers The Strokes finally confirmed they have a new album coming out soon. The band recently shared some details about the album, titled The New Abnormal, including tracklist and cover. The album will serve as a follow up to 2013’s Comedown Machine.

According to the press release, the LP will be produced by iconic producer Rick Rubin. The official release date is set for April 10th via Columbia Records.

As part of the announcement, the group also released a new single “At the Door.” They previously debuted several new tracks from The New Abnormal during some of their recent live shows including “Bad Decisions” and “The Adults Are Talking.”

The Strokes didn’t just sit around since Comedown Machine. Julian Casablancas and co. released the highly acclaimed EP Future Present Past, containing four tracks including “Drag Queen,” in 2016. The group was also actively touring as well as pursuing solo projects.
