For anyone who hasn’t heard of Roskilde, it’s a Viking village in Denmark and is about an hour train ride from Copenhagen. Every year, Roskilde hosts a music festival and this year, there is quite literally something for everyone.
Old timers will be pleased to see Bob Dylan and The Cure on the list of headliners. Oasis’ Noel Gallagher, The Smiths’ Johnny Marr and Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant are also on the list of supporting acts.
For the young and trendy, Cardi B, Skepta, Marina and Cyprus Hill are taking to the stage and for indie lovers, Vampire Weekend will be supporting Underworld and Robyn on Friday night’s stage. Over the course of the four day festival, there really is something for everyone.
