The Killers have shared a mysterious new photo of a brainstorm for their new album and our curiosity is piqued.

The picture was shared on the band’s official Twitter account and appears to show a mix of lyrics and song titles scrolled across a whiteboard. The random words might not mean much to us but the caption “Progress abounds” is promising.

It is unclear when the new album will be released but fans are hopeful that it will arrive later this year.

Earlier this month, Flowers gave NME an update on the new music He revealed: “We’ve been in Utah doing it. That’s where I fell in love with music for the first time; so it’s interesting to be there again and hear some of that music with the geography matching the sensation. Some of that stuff is starting to resurface and a lot of that had to do with synthesizer music. It’s always been part of our DNA but it’s definitely creeping up.”

More details to be shared when they arrive.
