The Flaming Lips released their new album King’s Mouth as a vinyl-only issue on Record Store Day over the weekend. All 4,000 vinyl copies were sold out quickly, but there is nothing to get worried about since American rockers intend to give the record a wide release as well.

The Flaming Lips announced that King’s Mouth will be out on July 19th, and will be available in all formats including digital release, CD and vinyl.

Speaking about their new record earlier this year, the band’s frontman Wayne Coyne revealed that King’s Mouth serves as a larger part of the art installation of the same name which was presented in 2015 and is currently on display at Rough Trade NYC. Coyne also shared that the album will feature narration for The Clash’s lead guitarist and lead vocalist Mick Jones “on almost every song.”

Until the record officially comes out, you can hear one of The Flaming Lips’ new songs “All For The Life Of The City” below.

The Flaming Lips’ latest release in 2017 when they presented their fourteenth studio album Oczy Mlody. The record spawned several hits like “The Castle” and “How??,” while receiving positive reviews from the critics.
