The Jesus and Mary Chain are set to work on a new album.
The alternative rock band are currently on tour with Nine Inch Nails. Frontman Jim Reid has said to COS that when the shows are over, the band will start working on a new record.
“We’re thinking of doing a new album soon after this tour,” he said. “I reckon that will be the next thing we do.”
“We work best with a deadline because we are the laziest people you can imagine,” he added. Reid said that the new LP will be “mostly new,” but there will be “some songs we’ve had knocking about for awhile.”
