Calvin Harris’ reign at the top of Forbes’ Highest-Paid DJs list is over.

After an impressive six consecutive years’ reign, The Chainsmokers have dethroned Harris as the world’s highest-paid artist in the category.

The Chainsmokers duo, Drew Taggart and Alex Pall, claimed the No. 1 spot with $46 million over the past 12 months. Harris dropped to No. 3 with $38.5 million, behind the masked DJ Marshmello, who earned $40 million, which secured him the No. 2 spot. Rounding out the top 5 are Steve Aoki and Diplo, with $30 million and $25 million respectively.

The Chainsmokers are known for their high-profile collaborations with artists such as Coldplay and Halsey. While the duo hasn’t released an album since April 2017, they did, drop five singles so far this year.

“We work with artists because it makes sense [and] because we’re excited about them,” Pall told Forbes in 2017. “Anytime we work with someone, it’s because they offer something to us creatively that inspires us.”
