The Black Keys have confirmed that they have pulled out of Woodstock 50.

The alternative rock band was scheduled to play alongside Jay-Z, Imagine Dragons, the Killers, Miley Cyrus, Chance the Rapper, Robert Plant and over 75 other artists. The event will take place in New York City and will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the legendary Woodstock ’69.

Unfortunately, The Black Keys will no longer be a part of the event due to “scheduling issues”. To be honest, we are a little skeptical as to what could possibly be more important than playing Woodstock.

“Due to a scheduling conflict, The Black Keys will, unfortunately, need to cancel their set at @woodstockfest,” the group announced on their official Twitter page. “The band wants to let fans know as soon as possible and before tickets go on sale.”

Tickets for Woodstock 50 will go on sale April 22.
