Despite being one of the leading rappers of her generation, Megan Thee Stallion never got a chance to headline her own tour, but that’s about to change. The Grammy-winning rapper will embark on Hot Girl Summer Tour later this year, which will accompany the release of her third studio album.

Stallion recently set down with Good Morning America to discuss her plans for the future and revealed she’ll be hitting the road in support of her third studio album this summer.

“I feel like I’ve never been able to be outside doing my own thing during the summer, since like 2019. So this is going to be the first time that I drop an album on time for the summer. I do want to give the hotties the Megan Thee Stallion experience,” said the rapper.

Stallion’s third studio album still doesn’t have a release date, but she’s been teasing it for quite some time. She dropped two snake-themed singles from this LP, “Cobra” and “Hiss”, which came out just last week.

“Hiss” is on track to hit No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 following its release on January 26, and Stallion tried to boost its success by dropping several alternative versions.
