Ice Spice is one of the biggest rising hip-hop stars right now, and everyone seems to want to collaborate with her, including Taylor Swift! The record-breaking hitmaker joined forces with the young rapper for a new remix of her hit song “Karma”.
“Karma” was released as one of the songs from Swift’s latest album Midnights, and the singer surprised us with The Late Night Edition of this record this week. It features a brand-new song “You’re Losing Me” and an extended version of “Snow on the Beach” featuring Lana Del Rey, but none of these songs created more buzz than the new “Karma” remix.
Ice Spice hopped on a new version of this song, adding a few spicy rap verses to the mix, starting with the intro, “Karma is that girl, like grrah.” Swift sang her praises on social media, and described her as “a brilliant artist” and “the one to watch”.
Ice Spice was equally impressed by Swift, and called her “the sweetest person ever” on Twitter. Their collaboration is just the icing on the cake for the young rapper, who’s been on fire since the start of 2023. She scored two top-five singles this spring, including “Boy’s a Liar Pt. 2″ with PinkPantheress and “Princess Diana” with Nicki Minaj.
