Taylor Swift finally decided to share more details about her upcoming seventh studio album with us. After teasing her fans with bits of information about the record in the past week, Swift now announced that the album, titled Lover, will be out on August 23rd.

Lover will contain 18 tracks and will be available in four deluxe versions, all of which will come with different bonus content.

Alongside the announcement, Swift also shared a new song “You Need to Calm Down.” The track serves as a second single for the album, with Brendon Urie collab “ME!” being presented back in April.

Prior to the reveal of her new single, Taylor Swift did an Instagram live video in which she gave fans a bit of an insight into her new record.

“This album in tone, it’s very romantic. And not just thematically, like it’s all love songs,” – said Swift. “I think the idea of something being romantic, it doesn’t have to be a happy song. You can find romance in loneliness or sadness or going through a conflict or dealing with things in your life … It looks at things with a very romantic gaze.”
