After teasing its release in the past few days, Taylor Swift finally shared a live acoustic version of her big hit “The Man” on streaming platforms. This intimate version of the song was recorded in Paris during Swift’s City of Lover concert.

City of Lover was a special show that Swift performed in Paris’ L’Olympia Bruno Coquatrix back in September. The concert was a one-off thing, as the tickets were not for sale and were handed out to fans all over the world through a special contest. It also saw Swift in a different surrounding, playing most of the set in acoustic arrangements.

During the concert, Swift debuted “Death By A Thousand Cuts” and “Cornelia Street,” while also playing some of her biggest hits to date, including “The Man.” Watch her performance below.

Taylor Swift released her latest album Lover back in August, and once again reclaimed her status as one of pop music’s biggest stars. The record, which featured collaborations with Dixie Chicks and Brendon Urie, ended up being a massive hit and managed to top the charts in more than a dozen countries, including the US and the UK. Since its release, the LP sold more than five million copies.

“The Man” served as the fourth and last single from Lover, and ended up becoming one of the album’s biggest hits. It received praise from the critics and audience, with many praising its message of feminism and women empowerment.
