SZA’s sophomore album SOS returned to No. 1 for the tenth time this week, and she came up with the perfect way to celebrate its success. The R&B superstar is plotting the release of the deluxe version of this record-breaking album, featuring 10 unheard songs.

SZA shared the exciting news in a recent interview with Billboard, after being announced as the magazine’s Woman of the Year. She addressed her plans for the future and revealed that the deluxe version of SOS is “coming soon”, and it will feature 10 additional tracks.

SZA was very open about the fact that she was very surprised by the album’s enormous success, and she’s hoping that the release of the deluxe version will finally make her realize she deserved it.

“After I do the deluxe, I’m hoping to be able to accept that this chapter is done. I’m looking forward to actually feeling proud of myself and not just smiling and nodding at accolades but really feeling it internally and knowing that I’m good enough,” she told Billboard.

SOS was released on December 9, 2022, and it produced hit singles “Good Days”, “I Hate U”, and “Kill Bill”, which currently sits at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. SOS topped the Billboard 200 chart for the tenth time this week, becoming the first album by a female performer since Adele’s 25 to do so.
