Lil Nas X created quite a splash with his debut studio album Montero, and its follow-up is just around the corner! The Grammy-winning singer recently shared an update on his next album and revealed he’s planning to share it with the world this summer.
Lil Nas X recently discussed his plans for the future with his fans on Twitter after being asked when can we expect his next album to hit the shelves. He replied with “most likely summer”, but he’s yet to make things official because there are many moving parts involved in its production.
“It’s mostly planning now. I could easily just release music but I have to build moments around this s—t. I have to go bigger than before! I love so many songs plus I’m still in the studio making music so it’s [going to] be hard to pick,” the singer wrote on Twitter.
Lil Nas X’s debut album Montero came out in 2021, and it produced chart-topping singles “Montero (Call Me by Your Name)” and “Industry Baby” with Jack Harlow. It debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and received nominations for five Grammy Awards, including album of the year.
