Skrillex’s debut album dropped in 2014, and his fans have been patiently waiting for a follow-up ever since. It finally seems like something amazing is on the horizon since the EDM star recently hinted he’s working on new music.
There’s been a lot of rumors circling around about his next album, and Skrillex addressed them in a series of tweets. He announced he’s working on something exciting, but not necessarily his sophomore record.
“Been taking long time off working on my friends albums but more importantly myself. Been lots of rumors of an “album”. I don’t know what it is or what to call it… But I’m about to start putting in this new work, going full speed ahead, no turning back,” wrote Skrillex on Twitter.
Skrillex’s debut album Recess came out in 2014, and he’s been keeping busy ever since. Despite the fact he hasn’t release a new record, the popular DJ has been working with other artist and dropping remixes of several hit songs, including “Sicko Mode” by Travis Scott.
