SB19 Postpones Comeback After COVID-19 Exposure

For all of you K-Pop fans simply aching to see SB19 perform again, unfortunately, you’ll have to wait a little bit longer. After a recent exposure to COVID-19, the Filipino boy band has been forced to prolong their virtual comeback.

It was announced that the group was “exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19”, which has led them to be ushered into immediate quarantine.

As the band’s management wrote on social media, “The health and safety of our artist, staff, and production team is our priority and we are thankful for your support and understanding.”

Originally, the group was set to perform in a virtual launch event to accompany the March 9th release of their single “WHAT?”. The single was still released as promised, but unfortunately the live comeback event will have to be rescheduled.

This song release is their first since “Get In The Zone”, their debut album that was released in 2020. “WHAT?” is expected to be in the band’s second album, although it’s unclear when this album will come out.

If their first album is any indication, SB19 looks to have a bright future ahead of them. At the Wish Music Awards in January, they impressed many by winning the awards Group Of The Year and Pop Song Of The Year.
