Rita Ora just dropped the music video for her very first single of 2022, titled “Finish Line”, and it sees her joining forces with the iconic songwriter Diane Warren. The singer describes this song as a “women’s empowerment anthem” and it’s set to be featured in ESPN’s upcoming four-part docuseries 37 Words.

Ora instantly wanted to be a part of this project because she was moved by Warren’s lyrics and the passion they evoked because they’re all about encouraging women to stay strong and stick together.

“The fight for women’s equality is a global issue. Every day, women around the world are fighting to be seen, heard, and respected. We must continue to work to empower one another as we strive to make equality a reality for women in every part of the world,” said Ora in a statement.

Warren described “Finish Line” as an “uplifting anthem that reminds us to never give up the fight”. She previously worked with Ora on the song “Seaside” from her album Diane Warren: The Cave Sessions Vol. 1, and felt she was a perfect fit for this track because she’s a global artist who “can get this message outwards”.
