We can count on BTS to surprise us with a catchy new song every time summer approaches, and they didn’t disappoint us this year. The K-pop band is welcoming the new season with a music video for their new single “Yet To Come”, set in the middle of a desert.

While surrounded by a sandy desert and clear blue skies, BTS members took their fans back to the past. The music video for “Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)” offers a fun walk down memory lane and features many references to the band’s past music videos.

This is a fitting creative choice because “Yet to Come” serves as the lead single from their first anthology album Proof. This album hit the shelves on June 10, and it features a retrospective of BTS’s biggest hits, including “Boy with Luv”, “Dynamite”, and “Butter.

In an official statement regarding Proof, the band described it as “the BTS anthology that embodies the history of BTS”, adding it will “be released as they begin a new chapter as an artist that has been active for nine years to look back on their past endeavors.”

“Yet to Come” marks quite a departure from BTS’s recent global hits, and it’s their first original Korean-language single since “Life Goes On” in 2020.
