If you are still working out your route for the summer music festival tour, then you should definitely look at what the 2018 Reading and Leeds Festival is preparing. The initial line-up for the festival has just been announced and its quite impressive.

On August 24 in Reading and August 25 in Leeds, we have Fall Out Boy with their new album Mania returning to headline the festival once again, joined by Post Malone, Wolf Alice, Nothing But Thieves, and Mist among others.

“There are very few places that can illustrate the growth of our band from its beginning,” said Fall Out Boy in a statement. “However, Reading and Leeds is one of them. It is an honor to be able to headline a festival that we grew up playing and dreaming of that top spot.”

August 25 in Reading and August 26 in Leeds is reserved for Kendrick Lamar, who comes back to the festival as well, but for the first time as a headliner. Panic! At The Disco, Dua Lipa, Sum 41, and Sigrid will also hit the stage on these dates.

Finally, the honor to open the Leeds part of the festival on August 24 and close the Reading part of the festival on August 26 will go to Kings Of Leon who will serve as headliners accompanied by Courteeners, Skepta, and Diplo among others.

“Reading and Leeds prides itself on being a music-first festival and this year’s line-up already proves that,” said organizers of the festival in a statement. “Kings of Leon and Fall Out Boy are bands that have grown with the festival and its fans and we couldn’t be more pleased to invite them back to headline. Adding Panic! at the Disco and Kendrick Lamar, probably the most sought-after act in the world right now, we think Reading and Leeds Festivals 2018 are off to an amazing start – with even more to come, so watch this space.”
