The inductees for 2019 class of inductees into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame have been revealed. According to Rolling Stone magazine, indie rockers Radiohead, British alternative legends The Cure, and rock band Def Leppard will be among the music acts inducted next year.

“Now we can stop holding our breath,” – said Def Leppard’s Joe Elliott. “How wonderful to be in the same club as the Rolling Stones and the Beatles and the Who and Queen … It’s a nice badge of honor.”

They will also be joined by American pop icon Janet Jackson, singer/songwriter Stevie Nicks and two English rock bands, Roxy Music and the Zombies.

“Thank you Rock and Roll Hall of Fame,” – said Jackson when she heard the news. “I am truly honored and I am happy to be in there with my brothers.”

“I have a lot to say about this, but I will save those words for later.” – said Nicks, who was previously inducted as a member of Fleetwood Mac in 1998.  “For now I will just say, I have been in a band since 1968. To be recognized for my solo work makes me take a deep breath and smile. It’s a glorious feeling.”

The ceremony of induction of 2019 class into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will be held at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on March 29th, 2019.

Nominated acts that didn’t make the cut for 2019 include Todd Rundgren, Rage Against the Machine, Rufus & Chaka Khan, MC5, LL Cool J, John Prine, Kraftwerk, and Devo.
