Queens Of The Stone Age have shared their support in light of LGBTQ+ pride month,

Pride month was created in support of a group of minorities and has transformed into a celebration of individuality. Although enormous progress has been made, Pride month is still an important opportunity to discuss the steps that still need to be made in pursuit of equality.

To show their support of the event, Queens of the Stone Age have shared a message of solidarity on Instagram. They also used the post to remind fans of what their name means and that their music is exclusively for the inclusive.

“Remember, it’s still Pride Month! Do something wonderful for someone today! Something you’ll be proud of!” the band wrote, followed by a series of LGBTQ+ hashtags.

“P.S. remember, the name QUEENS of the Stone Age was designed to weed certain people out. If you feel plucked like a weed by this fact, then it’s because you are plucked. Now, go, run along and pluck yourself.”
