Joyous Wolf has been around since 2014, But it’s only recently that they’ve really started to blow up. The Los Angeles based rock four-piece have racked up an impressive touring resume, having opened for the likes of Buckcherry, Slash and even rock legend Deep Purple.
Now Joyous Wolf has released a new video for the song “Quiet Heart”, and it seems they’re poised to break out in a huge way. Could they be the next big thing in rock?
Frontman Nick Reese certainly appears to think so. “This year has been a landmark, I think I’ll always look back at this one in my life as something really special,” he told Loudwire. “We’ve really proved it to ourselves, and I think we’ve proved it to a lot of the people around us and our peers that we are a force. We’re a train that will not stop anytime soon.”
Reese also provided some background to the meaning behind “Quiet Heart”: “I wrote it about the first time I ever really fell in love with somebody,” he shared. “You know when you’re in your early teens and it happens really hard for the first time, and you feel like if you don’t let that person know then you’re gonna explode.”
