We often think of our favorite singers as somehow different than us regular folk, but guess what? They’re just as human as the rest of us, with their own strengths and weaknesses and — that’s right — their own favorite TV shows. And as it turns out, Selena Gomez’s favorite show is none other than ABC’s Shark Tank.
Gomez, who turned 27 two months ago, was caught on film by her friends as they unraveled her birthday present: A visit to the set of Shark Tank, of which Gomez admits to being “obsessed with”. She was also kind enough to share it with us on her IG account:
The Tank also had an important milestone lately, celebrating 10 years on air just last month. If you’ve never watched it, the premise of the show is that entrepreneurs with ingenious (and sometimes, less ingenious) ideas make presentations to a panel made of five investors — the metaphorical “sharks” — and try to get them to invest in their vision.
Shark Robert Herjavec uploaded to his Instagram a photo with Gomez from her visit, with the caption “Guess who made it to the tank!”. The singer/actress to his side is smiling widely, no doubt treasuring the moment for years to come.
