It’s been a month since “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” hit theaters and we still can’t get it out of our head. Same goes for that catchy tune “Sunflower” by Post Malone and Swae Lee, at least according to Billboard Hot 100 chart.

This song took the no. 1 spot on this list after dethroning Halsey’s “Without Me”, and its slow rise to the top spot really gives us life! There’s just something about “Sunflower” that perfectly captures the spirit of the film it hailed from – and Spring Aspers, head of music and creative affairs at Sony Pictures, seems to agree.

“Post and Swae have delivered a song that’s both heroic and emotional, which is exactly what a Spider-Man story needs. It’s anthemic, but also heartfelt — the perfect soundtrack for Miles to discover the Spider-Man inside himself,” said Aspers.

“Sunflower” is Swae Lee’s first song to snag no. 1 spot on Billboard Hot 100. Young rapper described it as his favorite collaboration of the year, which is pretty amazing considering he worked with Camila Cabello, Travis Scott and Ellie Goulding in 2018.
