The date for the new Pixies album is getting near and the band has released a new single “Catfish Kate.” The song is accompanied by a new animated video. The video is yet another collaboration between the band and Krank! Collective who also created the video for “Tnement” in 2016.
The beautiful animated video shows a blond-haired woman pulled to another world while trying to catch a giant catfish.
This is the second offering the band has made from their upcoming album. Beneath the Eyrie is due to go out On September 13th via BMG. Earlier this summer, the band has released the first single – “On Graveyard Hill.”
Supporting their new album, the pixies are about to embark on a new tour. They will begin performing on august 31st at the Cure’s Daydream Festival in Pasadena, California and then hit Europe and the United Kingdom. Their tour will end on October 26th in La Coruna, Spain.
