It’s been over 15 years since Paris Hilton released her debut studio album, and it seems she’s finally ready to give music another try. Hilton told Jimmy Fallon she’s planning to release a new album next year, and revealed this record will be produced by Sia.
Hilton recently appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and shared some exciting news with the fans of her music. She’s dropping a Steve Aoki collaboration “Lighter” this week, and this song will serve as an interlude for her next album, which counts Sia among its producers.
This isn’t the first time that Hilton teased her comeback to music. The multi-hyphenate previously told Variety that she’s working on new music that falls under the EDM genre, with hints of pop sprinkled throughout.
“I’ve also been learning to produce. It’s hard, it’s a very technical skill but I’ve made some songs already and I’m excited to see what else I can do. I’ve got new songs on the way, and just a lot of new ideas and projects coming sooner than you think,” she explained.
Hilton’s debut album Paris came out in 2006, and its lead single “Stars Are Blind” experienced renewed popularity after appearing in the film Promising Young Woman in 2020.
