Foo Fighters’ concert at Bonnaroo was one for the ages, and they were in pretty good company while performing one of their most popular songs. Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams joined them onstage for an electrifying cover of their smash hit “My Hero”.

Paramore performed at Bonnaroo just before Foo Fighters hit the stage, serving as headliners of the festival’s closing night. Their set included some of their greatest hits, including “Learn To Fly”, “The Pretender”, and “Best Of You”, but the biggest shocker came during the second half when Williams hit the stage by their side.

Williams joined Foo Fighters for an epic rendition of “My Hero”, which was released as one of the singles from their second album The Colour and the Shape. Performing alongside Foo Fighters is a dream come true for Williams, who often cited them as a source of inspiration for Paramore, especially after she covered “My Hero” during a concert in Kuwait about a decade ago.

Foo Fighters’ headlining set at Bonnaroo is just one in a series of festival appearances that they’re set to make this summer. This is their first tour since their long-time drummer Taylor Hawkins tragically passed away last year, and they’re using it to promote their latest studio album But Here We Are…
