If you’re a huge fan of Papa Roach patiently awaiting their next album, it turns out you’ll have to wait a little bit longer. The band’s frontman Jacoby Shaddix recently revealed they don’t intend to release a new album or embark on a tour until 2022.

Shaddix recently discussed their plans for the future with Germany’s Rock Antenne radio and said they’re just going to “wait it out” until the COVID-19 pandemic subsides. They’ve already written around 14 new songs during lockdown, but it will take some time before they see the light of day.

“Now that we’re at this point in the process, it’s February, and I’m, like, ‘Okay. Maybe we’ll just go record another record. So then it’s, like, when we come out, we’ll have just a ton of music to drop and just be lined up to rip it for a while,” explained the Papa Roach singer.

Papa Roach dropped their latest studio album Who Do You Trust? back in 2019, which produced singles “Who Do You Trust?”, “Elevate”, “Come Around”, and “The Ending”.
