Several amazing new hits emerged since the start of 2024, but none of them managed to dethrone Noah Kahan’s “Stick Season” in the UK. The indie singer managed to return to No. 1 for a fourth consecutive week, spending a full month atop the Official UK Singles Chart.

“Stick Season” was the most-streamed track in the United Kingdom during its latest week on the chart, with 8.7 million streams in this country. To make the whole thing even better, it’s not Kahan’s only song in the top five this week—he also hit No. 5 with the new version of “Homesick” featuring Sam Fender.

Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s “Murder on the Dancefloor” is keeping steady at No. 2 following the renaissance it experienced after being featured in the final scene of Emerald Fennell’s Saltburn. It’s not the only song riding the nostalgia wave this week – Natasha Bedingfield’s Unwritten hit No. 13 after being featured in the hit rom-com Anyone But You.

As for the rest of the top five in the UK, Ariana Grande’s “Yes, And?” fell to No. 3 after initially debuting at No. 2. Jack Harlow’s “Lovin On Me”, his first career chart-topper in the UK, is holding steady at No. 4 after 11 weeks on the chart.
