Noah Kahan recently teased a collaboration with a major artist who inspired his work, and we finally know who he’s been talking about. The Grammy-nominated indie artist is gearing up for the release of the new version of his song “Homesick”, featuring Sam Fender.

After weeks of rumors that they might be teaming up, Fender finally confirmed he has a collaboration with Kahan on the way. He took to social media to share a teaser for the new version of “Homesick”, which pays homage to Fender’s roots in North Shields.

Seeing Kahan join forces with Fender isn’t a huge shocker for his fans, since he recently teased a major collaboration on social media.

“I’ve seen the comments, no more collaborations, we’re sick of them, ’cause I’ve heard it all I’ve decided to present you with yet another teaser for a new collaboration that I’m so excited about. This artist inspired this entire record, cannot wait for you guys to hear what we did,” he wrote on social media.

“Homesick” was originally released as a part of Kahan’s album Stick Season, which produced the hit single of the same name. “Stick Season” recently returned to no. 1 in the UK for the second week on top, in addition to peaking at No. 19 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
