Barbie is one of the summer’s most anticipated films, and its soundtrack is going to be fire! The collaboration between Ice Spice and Nicki Minaj, titled “Barbie World”, is one of the album’s most-anticipated songs, and the duo finally revealed its release date.

“Barbie World” will officially hit the shelves on June 23, and the two rappers teased the song with a short snippet on social media. This track is a hip-hop-infused version of Aqua’s iconic 1997 song “Barbie Girl”, and they’ll be credited as songwriters and performers alongside Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice.

There’s a lot of anticipation surrounding the release of this song since the duo already proved to the world that they’re a match made in heaven with another hit collaboration earlier this year. Nicki Minaj hopped on a remix of Ice Spice’s hit song “Princess Diana”, and the new version debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart after its release.

“Barbie World” will only be one of many amazing bangers on Barbie: The Album. We already got to hear three songs: “Dance the Night” by Dua Lipa, “Watati” by Karol G and Aldo Ranks, and “Angel” by PinkPantheress, but the album will also feature new music by Lizzo, Charli XCX, Ava Max, Fifty Fifty, Haim, and Tame Impala, among others.
