Nicki Minaj and Future’s upcoming joint tour across North America isn’t coming anymore. The NICKIHNDRXX tour, which was set to launch in September, is now being rescheduled for May 2019, but without Future. According to Live Nation, the rescheduling took place because Nicki Minaj “has decided to reevaluate elements of production on the tour.”

“Due to scheduling conflicts Future will not be on the North American run,” said the press release. “Nicki Minaj will be announcing new North American dates to kick off in May 2019. Refunds for the previously scheduled North American dates will be available at point of purchase, with new Nicki Minaj on-sale details announced soon.”

This won’t affect the current dates for Minaj and Future’s European tour which will kick off on February 21st, 2019.

According to a recent report from Page Six, the North America leg of Nicki Minaj and Future’s joint tour wasn’t a good seller at all. Sources from Live Nation told Page Six that the big venues with up to 20,000 capacities were selling only several thousands of tickets, which put the entire tour in danger of being canceled. Now, those predictions came true.

Nicki Minaj is touring in support of her fourth studio album Queen, which was released on August 10th, 2018 after several delays. Contrary to expectations, Queen didn’t top the US Billboard 200, coming in at No.2 behind Travis Scott’s Astroworld. The record received generally favorable reviews from the critics.
