My Chemical Romance surprised their fans with the best possible Christmas present this year – a special reunion show. We’re learning more about this exciting concert as the time goes by, and we finally know which band will support them during this highly-anticipated show.

The New Jersey based-band Thursday will support MCR during their sold-out show in Los Angeles, shortly after wrapping up their own 20th-anniversary tour.

“One thing that we never could have planned for was the reunion of our closest friends, My Chemical Romance. It was a sincere but welcomed shock when they told us their plans and asked if we wouldn’t join them,” said members of Thursday in a statement.

My Chemical Romance will reunite on December 20th at the Shrine Auditorium, in Los Angeles. Tickets for this show sold out in a matter of minutes, but members of the beloved emo band once again surprised their fans by announcing they’re planning additional three concerts, taking place next year in Australia, Japan, and New Zealand.
