People have spoken, and it seems that BLACKPINK impressed more than any other artist this year. The K-pop girl group managed to beat a tough competition at this year’s People’s Choice Awards and top the list of winners in the music categories with three wins.
BLACKPINK came out victorious in several major categories – best group, best concert tour, and best video of the year for their record-breaking visual for “Kill This Love”. Winners at this ceremony are voted by the public, and they owe this big triumph to their strong fan base.
Shawn Mendes also had a great night at this year’s PCAs and picked up the best male artist award. He also shared the best song award with Camila Cabello, who recorded the chart-topping hit “Señorita” by his side.
The list of winners in the music field also included Billie Eilish (best female artist), Taylor Swift (best album), Blake Shelton (best country artist), and Becky G (best Latin artist). Alessia Cara and Kelsea Ballerini performed during the ceremony, which was held November 10th in Santa Monica.
