Metallica and the San Francisco Symphony and conductor Michael Tilson are teaming up again and this time they’re coming to theaters too!

For those unlucky to see the forthcoming reprisal groundbreaking 1999 performances in person, you’ll now be able to see them in 3,000 movie theaters around the world on October 9.

The S&M2 anniversary concerts will take place at the Chase Center in San Francisco on September 6 and 8. This year’s commemorative concerts will see the group perform tunes from the original S&M shows, as well as new songs.

The first Symphony & Metallica aka S&M took place over two nights in 1999. They were conducted by Michael Kamen. They then released an album and concert film of it later that year.

Tickets go on sale August 7.
