The release date of Mean Girls: The Musical is just around the corner, and Megan Thee Stallion and Reneé Rapp helped build even more hype for this project. The fabulous duo channeled their inner Regina George in the music video for their collaboration “Not My Fault”.

The fetch new visual for “Not My Fault” sees Stallion and Rapp rocking their best pink outfits and dancing the night away by each other’s side. The video also features the scenes from the upcoming musical version of Mean Girls and references to the original 2004 film that inspired it.

Rapp told Entertainment Weekly she’s really happy with the way this song turned out, especially after she found a perfect partner in crime in Megan Thee Stallion.

“I was off in LA one day while I was on tour, I literally had one day off, and I was like, ‘We should try to go in the studio and see if we can write the credits song today.’ I was like, ‘There is a perfect person to have on this song, which is obviously Meg,” said Rapp.

Mean Girls will hit the theatres on January 12, and the soundtrack will include twelve musical numbers performed by the show’s cast, including Rapp, Angourie Rice, Auliʻi Cravalho, and Avantika.
