Marilyn Manson is determined to gift his fans some new music before 2019 wraps up. American rocker recently discussed the progress on his upcoming studio album with Revolver and promised that the record would be out “before the end of the year.”

According to Manson, he already finished six songs that will find its place on the follow up to 2017’s Heaven Upside Down.

“Last night, I was working pretty late in the studio, and we finished the sixth song,” Manson told the magazine. “So, it’ll be out before the end of the year, definitely. I plan on going on the Twins of Evil tour, and I have an art book that I’m going to release, and I’ll probably have a bunch of exhibitions all over to go along with it. And then I’ll release the album after that.”

Speaking further about the album, the “Tainted Love” singer said that he is considering to title the release Marilyn Manson as he wishes to “tell stories with this record.”

“I wouldn’t compare it to any of my other records, but you hear a bit of everything — it’s like I’ve focused everything into one spot, finally,” he added.

The new album will be Marylin Manson’s first with the new drummer Brandon Pertzborn, who recently took over from Gil Sharone. Pertzborn will introduce himself to a wider audience this summer when Manson embarks on The Twins Of Evil: Hell Never Dies Tour with Rob Zombie.
