Maggie Rogers has been teasing her third studio album for quite some time, and it seems she’s finally ready to share it with the world. She dropped a snippet of a new song on social media and revealed she has new music on the way in 2024.
Rogers took to social media to share a short clip of new music, which she captioned with the words “see you in 2024.” The song in question seems to be “Don’t Forget Me”, which she performed in several live shows throughout 2023.
The lyrics, “So close the door and change the channel/ Give me something I can handle/ A good lover, or someone that’s nice to me/ Take my money. Wreck my Sundays/ Love me till your next somebody/ But promise me when it’s time to leave, don’t forget me” can be heard in the video, but it’s unclear if Rogers is planning to drop the full track on audio streaming services anytime soon.
Rogers’ promise of new music for 2024 doesn’t come as a shocker since she revealed she’s written and recorded her third studio album last spring. She said that she’s “so so so in love with” her new songs and that she can’t wait to start playing them for her fans that summer.
