Lorde just announced that her upcoming album is officially in progress.
Since the release of “Royals” in 2013, Lorde has been very much on our radar. In 2017, she released the acclaimed Melodrama which left fans desperately craving more.
Now, it seems that the wait is almost over as Lorde has confirmed that a new album is indeed on the way. After it dawned on her that it has been two years since the release of Melodrama, she wrote: “Swells my damn heart thinking about your love for it and your willingness to go there with me and to dance the way we did together.
“The day it came out I did a jigsaw puzzle all day in my hotel room in NY. I felt so emptied, I didn’t really know yet that you make a record and get filled up and then realising it empties you and then slowly fills you up again.”
She then added: “It’s a good life you’ve given me, thankyou thankyou. Third one in the oven.”
So there you go. Lorde’s third album is on its way.
