2019 has barely started, but it’s already shaping up to be an amazing year for Lana Del Rey. Her new album Norman F***ing Rockwell will be out in March, but she’s also getting ready to publish her first book of poetry.
The four-time Grammy nominee shared the amazing news in her “Happy New Year” post on Instagram. She also announced her new song “Hope is a Dangerous Thing For a Woman Like Me to Have – But I Have It” will be out on January 9th.
That title is really a mouthful, but it makes us even more excited about her upcoming book. Del Rey said she’s spent 13 months writing new poems, and finally finished the ones she wanted featured in her book about a week ago.
This isn’t the first time Lana Del Rey discussed the idea of self-publishing her poems. Her book will probably be named after one of the lines from her favorite poem – “Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass”.
