Electronic music pioneers Kraftwerk are bringing their live show to Los Angeles, California, in 2024. The EDM legends announced a residency at LA’s Walt Disney Concert Hall that will include nine shows between May 21 and May 30.

Each show of the residency is promising to be a unique event. According to the announcement, Kraftwerk will play a different album in full for each of the first eight shows. The final show will consist of a career-defining track from their entire catalog.

Kraftwerk is celebrating the 50th anniversary of their seminal record Autobahn, which they will play in full on the first night of the Walt Disney Concert Hall residency. The subsequent shows will feature full performances of Radio-Activity, Trans Europe Express, The Man-Machine, Computer World, Techno Pop, The Mix, and Tour de France Soundtracks.

The upcoming LA residency will mark Kraftwerk’s return to the United States for the first time since 2022 when they had a hugely successful 24-date tour across North America.

Founded in 1974 by Florian Schneider and Ralf Hütter, Kraftwerk recorded 11 studio albums, the most recent being 2001’s Tour de France Soundtracks. The band, often described as “the most influential group in pop history,” was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2021.
