Kesha’s new album was a long time coming, and she gave us a taste of things to come with the lead single “Raising Hell”, which comes with a playful music video that perfectly fits the title of her new track.

The offbeat video, directed by Luke Gilford, sees the singer playing the role of a beloved televangelist, who’s dealing with a fair share of personal issues behind closed doors. Her husband is abusive and jealous of her success, and her attempt to get along with him ends in tragedy.

“Raising Hell” will be featured on her fourth studio album High Road, which is scheduled to be released next year, and the “Tik Tok” singer couldn’t wait to share it with her fans.

“I’m so excited to share my new music with y’all. I feel like this time around I’ve reclaimed my love of life. And I’ve decided to ‘fight for my right to party’…on my own terms!! I hope you all love it as much as I loved making it, and know I always have y’all in mind,” the description of the video reads.
