Blackpink is one of the hottest K-pop bands in the world right now, and it seems we’ll soon be able to enjoy their lyrics without the help of Google Translate. The members of the South Korean girl group are thinking about releasing their first album in English.

Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa discussed their future in a recent interview with Billboard and it seems an all-English record might be in the books. The girls feel they have a lot of Western culture in them, and believe it’s possible to understand their vibe even if you’re not speaking Korean.

They are not wrong – teens around the world fell in love with their sounds despite the fact they didn’t understand their lyrics right away. Blackpink will embark on their first North American arena tour this spring, shortly after becoming the first Korean girl group to perform at Coachella.

All-English album will make their music even more accessible, but they’ve already had English lyrics featured on several of their tracks. They also collaborated with Dua Lipa on the song “Kiss and Make Up”, and she couldn’t stop gushing about their talent.

“I was immediately drawn to their fierce and empowering energy. They are not just giving you hit songs – they are sending a message that resonates beyond the lyrics,” said Lipa about Blackpink.
