Jorja Smith has revealed that writing a Bond theme is not only a pipe dream of hers. She has actually already written her own unofficial theme.

The English singer-songwriter, best known for her collaborations with Drake and Kendrick Lamar, is keen to take on the honor of writing the next Bond song. At present, Dua Lipa is the favorite for the task but that’s not to say that the possibility is off the cards.

Speaking on The Official Top 40, Smith declared that writing an official song is a dream for her. In fact, she has even written her own Bond-inspired track.

“That’s a dream. Yeah I’d love to write a Bond song. I really do. I kind of wrote one, like a pretend one, but I do really want to write one, I’d love to,” she said. “I like writing cinematic things. Things for films. I always imagine movies in my head sometimes when I’m writing songs.”

Daniel Craig’s final performance as Bond in No Time To Die will be released in movie theatres April 3 2020.
