The 2000s are back, and they are going on a tour this summer. American rockers Jimmy Eat World, known for their 2001’s chart-topping single “The Middle,” just announced a handful of dates which will see them play North America in August and early September.

To make things even better for the fans nostalgic for the 2000s, Jimmy Eat World is bringing in folk punkers The Front Bottoms along for the ride alongside Turnover and Joyce Manor on selected dates.

The first part of the tour kicks off on August 6th in Atlanta and wraps up in Cincinnati on August 22nd, with Turnover opening for the Jimmy Eat World and The Front Bottoms on all the stops. The second part features Joyce Manor as an opening act, starting on August 26th in Minneapolis and finishing on September 5th in Phoenix.

Jimmy Eat World are fresh off their tenth studio album Surviving, which was released in October. Although the record wasn’t a big commercial success, reaching only No.90 on US Billboard 200, it received positive reviews from both the critics and band’s most devoted fans.
