Jelly Roll made quite a splash with his latest album Whitsitt Chapel, and he’s finally reaping the fruits of his labor. The CMT Music Awards returned to Texas this Sunday, and Jolly Roll was crowned as the biggest winner of the night, with three awards.

Jelly Roll was one of the main contenders for the main awards of the night – video of the year. His megahit “Need a Favor” defeated Cody Johnson’s “The Painter” and Kelsea Ballerini’s “If You Go Down (I’m Goin’ Down Too)” to take the trophy home.

“Need a Favor” also won the trophy for the male video of the year and Jolly Roll won a prize for the CMT performance of the year for his rendition of this song at the last year’s ceremony.

Jelly Roll is no stranger to dominating CMT Music Awards, and he also walked away with three trophies last year, including male video of the year for “Son of a Sinner”. He’s the first artist to win back-to-back awards in this category since Blake Shelton in 2013/14.

The CMT Music Video Awards took place at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas on April 7, with Kelsea Ballerini returning as a host.
