Filmed in New Providence, Bahamas, this dreamy video shows the singer exploring the beauty of the exotic archipelago. He can be seen walking down the beach, swimming through the ocean, and being fully submerged underwater after being pulled by the waves.
“Photographs” serves as the latest single from his album CTV3: Cool Tape Vol. 3, and he wanted to use this song and the music video to show his more emotional side.
“This music video shows how it feels to be in a place that’s supposed to be so relaxing and so beautiful, but like, experiencing that completely by yourself and seeing the other side to that. Somebody is waking up in paradise alone, and it kind of turns into an emotional nightmare,” Smith told Billboard.
