Nicki Minaj may have recently teased a new album but now she has told her fans that she is retiring.
On Thursday, the rapper shared a tweet which has had fans in a frenzy. She wrote: “I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me, in the box-cuz ain’t nobody checkin me. Love you for LIFE”.
It is unclear whether this tweet is serious but either way, her fans are not happy.
One user replied: “I’m crying so hard omg onika plz boo” while another said: “if this is a joke it AIN’T funny.”
Another joked: “About to look up the word “retire” hopefully it means dropping an album tomorrow, wish me luck.”
We are also hoping for the same. During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Nicki said: “You’re the first to find out… of course, there’s a new album.”
We assume that means that Nicki will put out her album before she settles down to have a family… fingers crossed.
