Hayley Kiyoko gave us one of the best debut albums of the last year with her first LP Expectations, and she’s gearing up for its follow-up. Her next record is coming our way next year, and she’ll get ready for a new chapter of her career by embarking on a tour across the US.

Kiyoko’s new album and tour will be called I’m Too Sensitive For This Sh*t, and this title comes with an interesting backstory. The singer admitted she had this “dramatic statement” written down for ages, but eventually saved it for her sophomore album.

Her new tour will kick off in San Diego on January 29th, and she described it as “a great bridge to where she’s headed for the sophomore album” while discussing her future plans with Rolling Stone.

Hayley Kiyoko also admitted that her heavy touring schedule can be overwhelming, because “there’s no book on how to survive tour and how to take care of yourself and be there for others”. The list of things that help her keep a clear head includes everything from acupuncture and essential oils to good nail salons and lots of Purell.
