Fans that attended Harry Styles’ Halloween show at Inglewood’s Kia Forum earlier this week were served a special treat. The ex-One Direction member came dressed as John Travolta’s Grease character Danny Zuko and then went on to perform the movie’s classic tune “Hopelessly Devoted To You.”

Fan footage from the concert shows Styles dressed in a sleeveless shirt with a “Harryween” inscription on the back and black jeans while donning a Zuko-like hairdo. After showing off some dance moves, he starts singing “Hopelessly Devoted To You,” performed by Olivia Newton-John’s Sandy in the movie, and the crowd quickly joins in.

During the performance, the video wall behind Styles projected photos of Newton-John, who passed away back in August.

Released in 1978, the romantic musical Grease centered on a summer fling between two high-school students, greaser Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsson, a transfer student from Australia. The movie’s soundtrack was one of the best-selling albums of the year, while John Farrar-written “Hopelessly Devoted To You” earned an Academy Award nomination and reached No. 3 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

After the show, Styles shared his full Halloween costume on Instagram. The 28-year-old singer is currently wrapping up his U.S. tour that will see him perform nine shows at Kia Forum.
