Limp Bizkit fans really have the patience of saints since they’ve been waiting for the band’s next album for eight years – and it seems the wait isn’t over yet. Fred Durst recently discussed the band’s new music and said he’s “waiting to truly feel and believe” what they’re doing.

Limp Bizkit’s frontman did an interview with Billboard and talked about everything from his next film starring John Travolta to working on new music with Limp Bizkit. Durst admitted he made a conscious decision to take time and not release new music until he feels comfortable about the message he’s sending to the world.

“I feel like a messenger; I’m waiting on the message. I’m waiting to truly feel and believe what I’m saying as shallow or deep as you may perceive it, if it means something to me, I can say it. If it doesn’t, there’s no reason for me to chalk it up and put it out.”

Limp Bizkit dropped their last studio album Gold Cobra in 2011, and we’ve been waiting for its follow-up ever since. Their sixth album has a working title Stampede of the Disco Elephants, but it remains in development hell with no release date set.
